Given the minimum advised time gap of 84 days between the first and second of the vaccine, the percentage of fully vaccinated patients appears low. Regardless of vaccination, COVID appropriate behavior is advised to the public.

Uttar Pradesh has made use of over 70 million doses, followed by Maharashtra at over 50 million. Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh have administered around 45 million doses each.

Kerala, the state currently with the highest number of COVID-19 infections, has given over 28 million doses of vaccines to its residents.

Johnson and Johnson, the single-shot vaccine and mRNA vaccine Moderna, are both set to make an entry into the country. For now, three viral vector vaccines – Covishield, Covaxin, and Sputnik V are available to the public.
