At least 90 people were killed and over 145 injured at Crocus City Hall in Moscow in a terrorist attack by gunmen and explosives on March 22, 2024.

The attackers were said to be dressed in camouflage and shot at people attending a concert.

Four of the attackers are now arrested.

A fire broke out at the venue during the attack, but the latest reports indicate that it has largely been contained.

ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack. In 2015, it claimed that it downed a Russian plane, and in 2017, it said that it bombed the St Metro.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the attack and said the nation’s thoughts and prayers were with the afflicted.

As a precaution, all major events in Moscow this weekend are canceled.

The US has said that it had cautioned Russia about a possible attack by the Islamic State.
