As of May 2, Andhra Pradesh coronavirus cases go up to 1525

With 62 cases reported overnight, the number of those tested positive for the coronavirus in Andhra Pradesh has gone up to 1525.

Kurnool reported 25 cases, Krishna district 12, Nellore 6, Visakhapatnam, Kadapa, and Ananthapur districts registered 4 cases each, East Godavari 3, Guntur 2, Prakasam and West Godavari districts recorded 1 case each.

The Red Zones

Kurnool, Krishna, Guntur, Chittoor, and Nellore are classified as red zones by the central government as per the latest classification.

Kurnool currently has the highest number of coronavirus cases at 436 followed by Guntur at 308, Krishna at 258, Nellore 90, Kadapa 83, Chittoor at cases.
