Andhra Pradesh coronavirus cases at 1,332; Guntur reports the most

With 73 cases freshly reported, Andhra Pradesh coronavirus cases have gone up to 1,332 as of April 29. A total of 7,727 samples were processed in the last 24 hours.

Of the new cases of COVID-19, Guntur district reported 29, Krishna 13, Kurnool 11, Kadapa, Ananthapur, and Prakasam districts four each, Chittoor 3, West Godavari 2, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari and Srikakulam one each.

Kurnool has the highest cases

Kurnool continues to be the district with most coronavirus cases, currently at 343 (291 active cases) followed by Guntur 283 (216 active cases) and Krishna 236 (196 active cases.)

Kurnool lost nine people to the virus, Guntur and Krishna lost eight people each. Across all the districts, 31 people have died from the virus.

With 287 people discharged and 31 deceased, 1,014 cases of coronavirus are active.
