Indian Armed Forces honour the Healthcare Workers fighting coronavirus

Indian Armed Forces – Army, Navy, and the Air Force showed their respect and support for the healthcare professionals across the nation.

The gesture of appreciation was seen across the length and breadth of India. As announced by the Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat earlier, multiple fighter jets and transport aircraft were airborne across the country for a flypast of support. Choppers showered petals on Hospitals and the staff who stood outside.

Bands played in solidarity, while members of the Indian Army interacted with the Doctors, Nurses, Police personnel, and others fighting the coronavirus.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated the gesture from the armed forces and tweeted a video that comprised the day’s events.
