India, on Saturday, reported 10,929 new cases of the coronavirus.
The country has also reported 12,509 recoveries, taking the total number of those who recovered to 3,37,37,468.
There are currently 1,46,950 active cases in the country.
Daily positivity rate is at 1.35 percent, and weekly positivity rate is 1.27 percent.
India administers 108 Cr doses of COVID-19 vaccines
As of November 6, India has administered 108 Cr doses of the coronavirus vaccines. The vaccines available in the country are Covishield, Covaxin, and Sputnik V, although the first two are most used.
World Health Organization has very recently recognized India’s Covaxin.
Over 20.75 Lakh doses were administered in the last 24 hours. Of these 7.04 Lakh are first doses, and 13.71 Lakh are second.
