In over 1.3 million coronavirus tests conducted in the state so far, Andhra Pradesh recorded 50,829 positive cases as of Monday morning at 10 AM. Including the cases from ‘other states’ and ‘other countries,’ the tally is shown as 53,724.
As per the state government bulletin, a total of 4,076 positive cases were identified from the 33,580 COVID-19 tests conducted in the last 24 hours.
East Godavari records the highest
East Godavari district reported 1,086 cases afresh, taking its total to 7,232.
Kurnool reported 559 cases overnight, taking its tally to 6,604, while Guntur reported 596 cases, taking its total to 5,494.
With 24,228 people reported discharged and 696 deceased, 28,800 cases are shown active in the state.
