TDP and Jana Sena to campaign together with a joint manifesto

Allies Telugu Desam and Jana Sena have decided to campaign jointly in Andhra Pradesh for the upcoming general election. TDP National Secretary Nara Lokesh and JSP Chief Pawan Kalyan made the announcement following a meeting on October 24, 2023.

However, the parties would also continue with their independent campaigns, which were already scheduled.

Both parties will arrange meetings between cadre and leaders on October 29, 30, and 31 and then kick off the door-to-door campaign from November 1.

Mr. Lokesh said they would independently verify the accuracy of the voter list.

He added that the YSRCP rule has given rise to social injustice, increased farmer suicides, and failed to provide jobs.

Mr. Pawan Kalyan, an ally of the BJP, said the national party would understand that the alliance is aimed at securing the state’s future. So far, the BJP’s top leadership has not commented on the TDP-JSP alliance.
