Revanth Reddy sworn in as the Chief Minister of Telangana

Anumula Revanth Reddy, Congress MLA from Kodangal, was sworn in as Telangana’s Chief Minister on December 7, 2023.

Mr. Revanth Reddy is the second Chief Minister of Telangana post-bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.

Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan administered the Oath of Office at LB Stadium in Hyderabad, with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, senior leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Vadra, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, and Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu in attendance.

Mallu Bhatti Vikaramarka took oath as the Deputy Chief Minister.

Ministers sworn in

Ministers were also sworn in during the ceremony.

The council of ministers now includes Uttam Kumar Reddy, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, Tummala Nageswara Rao, Damodara Rajanarsimha, Jupally Krishna Rao, and Sitakka.

The first cabinet meeting is set to be held this evening.
