PM Modi arrives in Andhra Pradesh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, on the evening of November 11 and held a minor roadshow amid the cheering crowds.

Mr. Modi is on a two-day visit to Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.

PM Modi in Andhra Pradesh

On November 12, PM Modi will dedicate the U-field Onshore Deepwater block project of ONGC to the nation. The 2900 Cr project would have a production potential of around 3 million MMSCMD per day.

PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of the AP section of the 6-lane GreenField Raipur – Visakhapatnam Economic Corridor worth 3750 crores.

The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of a dedicated Port Road from Convent Junction to Sheela Nagar Junction in Visakhapatnam to ease traffic congestion by separating local and port-bound goods traffic.

PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of Visakhapatnam Railway Station with an expected cost of Rs 450 crores. The redeveloped station would serve 75,000 passengers per day and provide better amenities.

The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for the modernization and upgradation of Visakhapatnam Fishing Harbour, costing Rs 150 crores, aimed at doubling the handling capacity.

PM Modi’s schedule in Telangana

Prime Minister will dedicate the fertilizer plant at Ramagundam to the nation. The foundation stone for the project was laid by Prime Minister on August 7, 2016.

The revival of the Ramagundam Plant will provide 12.7 LMT indigenous neem-coated Urea per anum.

The project worth Rs. 6300 crores is expected to ensure the supply of urea fertilizer to farmers in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Chattisgarh, and Maharashtra. The RFCL will get gas through Jagdishpur – Phulpur- Haldia Pipeline.

Prime Minister Modi will dedicate the Bhadrachalam road- Sattupalli rail line to the nation.

In Karnataka and Tamil Nadu

Earlier in Karnataka, PM Modi had flagged off Chennai-Mysuru Vande Bharat Express and inaugurated Terminal 2 of Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru. He also unveiled 108 feet tall bronze statue of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda in Bengaluru.

In Tamil Nadu, the Prime Minister addressed the 36th Convocation ceremony of Gandhigram Rural Institute.
