Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s rare pictures revisited for his biopic

Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, team commander of 51 Special Action Group of the Indian Army, whose heroic efforts in rebutting the terrorist attacks of November 2008 earned him a posthumous Ashoka Chakra, would have been 45 years old now had he been alive.

He was born on March 15, 1977.

The team behind his biopic has released several pictures of Major Unnikrishnan, along with the photographs of the movie’s actors portraying the gallant officer and his family.
