India administers 104.04 Cr doses of COVID-19 vaccines

India, as of October 28, has administered 104.04 Cr doses of the COVID-19 vaccines.

The country has reported 16,156 new cases of the coronavirus overnight, along with 17,095 recoveries.

There are 1,60,989 active cases, which account for less than 1 percent of the total cases, currently at 0.47 percent.

The recovery rate is at 98.2 percent.

A total of 3,36,14,434 people have recovered from the virus.

Maharashtra Home Minister contracts COVID-19

Maharashtra Home Minister Dilip Patil tested positive for the coronavirus.

The minister tweeted the health update and asked those who came in contact with him to get checked if they noticed any symptoms.

Maharashtra has the second highest number of active cases in the country, while Kerala has the highest.
