Twitter’s Boss, Elon Musk, has reinstated former US President Donal Trump’s account.
Mr. Musk started a poll on Friday about whether to reinstate Mr. Trump’s account.
The Verdict
Of the 15,085,458 votes polled, 51.8 percent wanted Mr. Trump back on Twitter, while 48.2 percent did not.
The poll, which was open for 24 hours, was seen by 134 million people, tweeted Mr. Musk shortly before it closed.
Will Trump be back on Twitter?
Revoking a ban on Mr. Trump may not necessarily see the former President using Twitter. After all, the former President had started a social media platform called ‘Truth Social.’
However, given his previous prolific use of Twitter and the huge following he had enjoyed, anything is possible.
Musk reinstates other accounts
Mr. Musk had already revoked the ban on a few accounts, including those of the website Babylon Bee, media personality Jordan Peterson and comedian Kathy Griffin.
