The CID approached Mr. Lokesh in TDP MP Galla Jaydev’s office in New Delhi. Lokesh is camping in Delhi to secure bail for his father, who is in judicial remand.

The notices were issued CrPC 41A, and touching upon it, the High Court dismissed Nara Lokesh’s petition for anticipatory bail.

The CID alleges that the Inner Ring Road alignment had been changed to benefit Mr. Lokesh’s family-owned Heritage Foods Ltd, which purchased lands in the region.

Mr. Lokesh denies the charges and has said that IRR did not even materialize and is also not connected to the portfolio he held as a Minister.
