Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, currently in judicial custody in the Rajamahendravaram Central Prison in Andhra Pradesh for his involvement in an alleged skill development Scam, will have his case mentioned in the Supreme Court on Sep 26, 2023.

The apex Court had earlier refused to list the case out of turn.

On September 14, the Andhra Pradesh High Court dismissed Mr. Naidu’s petition to quash the FIR registered against him.

The TDP Chief was arrested by the state’s Crime Investigation Department (CID) on September 10, 2023, for the alleged 371 Cr scam.

The three-time Chief Minister is in judicial custody as per ACB Court Order.

TDP alleges Political Vendetta

Meanwhile, Chandrababu Naidu’s son, Nara Lokesh, alleged that there was a conspiracy to end Naidu’s life in jail. He also said that Naidu is denied basic human rights in prison.

The TDP has been staging protests against his arrest.
