As per the official information put out by the Government of Telangana, the state registered 16 new cases on Friday, April 10th, taking the positive COVID-19 cases to 487.

Hyderabad had registered the highest number of cases in the state with the total tally at 179, while Nizamabad stood a distant second at 49, followed by Rangareddy District at 27. Siricilla district registered its first case, and now each district in Telangana is affected by COVID-19. Siddipet and Mahabubabad have so far registered just one case each.

While the Government’s bulletin mentions the total number of deaths at 12, data is unclear as to people from which districts succumbed to the virus. There was also some confusion on the total number tallies in the Health Bulletins.

While those who are classified as either cured or discharged stand at 45, 430 coronavirus cases are active.
